| Our bathtub, as you might be able to guess, is a bit on the old side. We don't know anyone else who has one this old. We are crossing our fingers that maybe one day we can show you what a new one looks like. We are trying to convince our landlord (via Julie's supervisor) to replace this thing, since it tends to shoot rust (or "sharp black particles", as Julie calls them, with a slightly nauseous pause between each word) out of the jets. So far someone in this little chain of communication is dragging their feet. In the meantime, we just bought some cheapo rubber plugs and stuck 'em on in there. That works great, though we have to pull them out a little every so often to vent the air that's building up. |
