| This is the boiler for the shower/bath area. As with the stove and the hot water faucet in the kitchen, you need to turn on the gas with that black knob on the wall. Then you push in the knob on the upper right, the one with the red dot on it and turn it a quarter turn to the right. Keep holding it down, and you will hear subtle gas burner-like noises inside the machine here. In the middle of that slightly raised part, you might be able to see a gauge. You watch that gauge, keeping that knob pushed, until the needle is in the red, then WHAM! You have to release that knob, turn it another ninety degrees to the left, and reach over and turn on the water (that's the knob attached to the black hose). Didn't do it right? Start over, sucker. |
