Our Bathroom's Common Room

Here we have the general area in our bathroom. To take this picture, I'm standing in our so-called "Toilet Room", so the point of view is approximately even with the wall, if that gives you any sense of space here. To the left, where you see the curtain, is the entryway into the kitchen. On the right is the shower. On the upper left is a low door frame that I've wanged my head on about ten times. There's also a wide Marlboro poster, of all things, plasti-tacked up on the wall there. When the plasti-tack gave out, we saw that the poster wasn't an oversight, but rather was covering a sizable hole in the wall. Based on my history with this particular section of wall, I might have theorized that the former occupant was tall like me and perhaps came charging out of the shower, heedless of Japan's Lilliputian building standards. However, the depth of the hole and the force that would have been necessary told us that if that were the case, the hole would probably have been accompanied by a chalk outline on the floor right below it. Likelier than not, the occupant in question hit his head comparatively gently on the frame, then taught it a tougher lesson with his fist. Luckily, cooler heads are currently prevailing in this apartment.
